ELGHATIT LAW FIRM was first
founded in 1932 by the late Honourable Mtre Mohammed Aly ELGHATIT, the
Lead Barrister before the National & Mixed Courts in Egypt.

Prof. Dr. ALY HAMED
ELGHATIT, Vice-President of the Egyptian Society of International Law
(1991), member of the Board of Directors of the International Commission
of Arbitration in Paris. National / International Arbitrator and
Counsel, and Solicitor / Barrister of the Egyptian Supreme courts, is
both educated at the Cairo Law School (Cairo University LL.B., 1961
LL.M., 1964) and later at the University of California at Berkeley,
Boalt Hall Law School (LL.M., Juris Doctor 1972). At Berkeley, he taught
comparative law, conflict of laws, and comparative jurisprudence with
Professors Albert EHRENZWIEG, Stan RIESENFIELD and Richard BUXBAUM;
being also a specialist of transnational and comparative economic law
which he has been teaching at Cairo University, the Institut de Droit
des Affaires, and Ein Shams University Law Schools at graduate
level. |
